Thanks to TaterTots and Jello blog for sharing this the Bleach it Away campaign info.  This project fits right in!
I received information about Clorox’s Bleach It Away campaign and am sharing my messy moment/craft fail/bleach project for the chance to win prizes from Tatertots & Jello and Clorox. You can find out more information about this campaign –  www.BleachItAway.com.  If you share YOUR messy moment story, you can enter to win $25,000 and daily prizes, and you can get a coupon for Clorox® Regular Bleach.

Here are samples of what you are seeing in the video. The first shirt you are seeing was made in this VLOG. Video is a bit grainy.....Time for a new camera!

Happy Crafting!

  1. Hihi! I've been looking for bright colored men's anklet socks but I have big feet (size 12 shoe) and can't find any. After checking on dyeing them I'm really considering dip dying them (just from the ankle) so they are bright on the part they stick out of the shoe.

I've seen a few videos now and noticed that you didn't dip your shirts in water before you put them in the dye. Does having them pre-wet'd cause the dye to drift or fade farther up the cloth item then having them dry?

    Thx!

  2. Sometimes I do wet the fabric. The color crawls up the fabric a bit differently. I personally have found that dipping dry fabric gives you more precise lines. I hope this helps!

  3. If you are wanting to sell crafts online that you make in arizona you should check out http://www.azcraze.com/. They allow you to sell up to 250 products (you can have as many in stock of an item as you want) for only $5 a month or $50 a year. Unlike other websites you are just charged the low monthly/yearly rate. They do not take any commission of the products you sell. You keep 100% of the purchase price. Your money from the sales gets paid directly your paypal account. They never keep it!
